QRS DISCONTINUED
The QRS, was a quick response service unit, which carried medical supplies, oxygen and an automatic defibrillator (AED). These items that are listed above will be put on our Rescue. The reason that Goodville Fire Co. bought the first QRS.was to bring medical assistance until the medic or ambulance arrive. The reason for discontinuing this service was due to paid ambulance staff, which made their response time faster. And we felt it no longer necessary.
